What you need

Prepare the following to get started; we'll handle every other step for you.

  1. Business license: either a company or an individual business is fine. The business scope must include the Animation & Game Development (动漫游戏开发) or Internet Game Services (互联网游戏服务) category.
  2. Legal representative's QR scan + SMS: the real-name identity verification step requires the legal representative to scan a QR code in person for facial recognition and to receive an SMS to complete verification.
  3. ¥1,000 deposit: an additional deposit, paid mainly to Tencent for the normal operation of your WeChat Mini Program. You won't need it until one month after the mini program goes live.

Tip

We handle all the remaining steps for you, such as account setup, merchant configuration and technical integration. All you need to do is wait for the activation notice.

Frequently asked questions

Choosing the right plan matters, so here are answers to common questions about pricing. If you have other questions, feel free to contact online customer service.

What's the difference between the three plans?

The only difference is how the platform charges you. Plan 1 and Plan 2 charge a software service fee yearly (¥1,200) or quarterly (¥500). Plan 3 charges no software service fee and instead takes a 2% commission on the order amount. The official payment rate (0.6%) is the same for all three plans; it is deducted directly by the payment platform and is not included in the fees above.

Which plan should I choose?

You can estimate based on your revenue. Plan 3 takes a 2% commission on the order amount. At a monthly revenue of ¥5,000, the commission exactly equals Plan 1's service fee, which works out to ¥100 per month; at a quarterly revenue of ¥25,000 (about ¥8,300 per month), it exactly equals Plan 2's quarterly fee of ¥500. Above these amounts, Plan 1 or Plan 2 costs less.

  • Just starting out, or revenue isn't stable yet: choose Plan 3, with zero startup cost;
  • Stable revenue and long-term operation: choose Plan 1, where annual billing saves more;
  • Want a short trial run first: choose Plan 2, billed quarterly.

Do funds pass through the platform?

No. Each order is collected by the official payment provider and settled to your bank card on T+1, never entering the platform's account.

How are the rate, the service fee and the commission charged?

The official payment rate is deducted directly by the payment platform, so you don't pay it separately; it is the same for all three plans. The platform charges in one of two ways: Plan 1 and Plan 2 charge a fixed software service fee, billed yearly or quarterly, for ongoing system maintenance and upgrades; Plan 3 charges no software service fee and instead takes a 2% commission on each order amount, deducted automatically through profit sharing. The commission does not include the official payment rate.

Can I switch plans midway?

Yes. Contact online customer service and tell us what you need, and we'll help you adjust your plan.

What is the deposit for?

The ¥1,000 deposit is paid mainly to Tencent for the normal operation of the mini program. You won't need it until one month after the mini program goes live, so it doesn't affect the initial setup and deployment.

Why does my business license need a game-related category?

A gaming companion business is a game-related service, and when you set up the mini program's categories and the payment merchant account, WeChat reviews the business scope on your business license. If the business scope doesn't include Animation & Game Development (动漫游戏开发) or Internet Game Services (互联网游戏服务), you may not pass the review.

How long does setup take?

Once your documents are complete and the legal representative has completed real-name identity verification, deployment can be finished as soon as the same day. After the mini program is submitted for WeChat review, it usually goes live within 1–3 business days. For the full process, see Quick Start.

Do I need technical skills?

No. We handle account setup, merchant configuration, technical integration and the other steps for you. The platform deploys the mini program code with one click, and afterward you just click update in the club admin console to upgrade to a new version.
